Mindfulness Training = less stress + better focus

Mindfulness training is being offered at some of the world’s biggest companies, including Google, KPMG, Apple and Nike to cut workplace stress and boost productivity. With workplace stress costing UK businesses £6.5bn a year, it’s no surprise that forward thinking companies are investing in mindfulness. Less stress in the workplace means less absenteeism and a more engaged, productive workforce.

Employees in the UK are struggling with a workplace stress epidemic, with 64% suffering with poor or below average mental wellbeing according to a 2018 study.

While every organisation is faced with a unique set of challenges, we believe that offering employees stress management practices and methods of developing mental resilience is key to making the workplace more productive and effective.

our training approach

Our mindfulness training is grounded in the science based techniques of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) incorporating meditation, breathwork and mindfulness practices to enable individuals to alleviate stress, calm the mind, improve focus and elicit states of restorative relaxation.

The central objective of our 5 week mindfulness training programme is to introduce participants to the fundamental components of mindfulness and the practical application of mindfulness in the context of the workplace.  Each session will offer participants the opportunity to reflect on their professional and personal goals through the framework of our mindfulness-based performance coaching model.

The training is presented as 5 x 2 hour interactive workshops that incorporate a variety of engaging and practical tasks.  Suitable for both beginners and those with experience practicing mindfulness or meditation.
