THE POWER OF MEDITATION

Meditation is the practice of becoming still and turning your attention to a single point of reference. It can involve focusing on the breath, on bodily sensations, or on a word or phrase known as a mantra.

One of the greatest benefits of meditation is that it is a way for us to become more self-aware. It is an opportunity to get out of autopilot, reconnect with the present moment and clear the busy mental chatter that keeps us stuck in a place of stress and overwhelm.

In a mindfulness meditation practice we take on the role of the observer or the witness of our thoughts. Our role is to simple be aware of our thoughts and to let them pass without judgement or resistence.

Mindfulness mediation is a powerful practice for releasing ourselves from our thoughts and the stories we tell ourselves over and over again. From this place of awareness we are better able to free ourselves from the thought patterns and automatic negative thinking that may be holding us back from making positive change or progress in life.

Our 30 minute guided meditation sessions are the perfect way to melt away stress, manage overwhelm and release tension during a busy workday. Discover how meditation can help you to calm a busy mind and lead to a greater sense of mental and physical wellbeing.

This is a modern and uncomplicated meditation experience suitable for beginners or those with an existing meditation practice. 

What can you expect?

Meditation is simply a way of training our mind to focus on the present moment instead of worrying about the past or the future. In this session you will simply be asked to embrace stillness – get comfortable in a seated position and enjoy the sensation of feeling fully calm and relaxed. Your teacher will guide you through a gentle meditation practice and you will soon feel any stress and tension melt away.
